
Koda's Canine Club - Mobile Dog Grooming Terms & Conditions
1. General Agreement
By booking an appointment with Koda's Canine Club Mobile Grooming, you (the "Client") agree to
the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure clarity,
professionalism, and the well-being of your pet while using our services.
2. Appointment Booking & Cancellations
- All appointments must be booked in advance through our website or directly with our team.
- A non-refundable deposit of 25 percent is required at the time of booking to secure your
appointment.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of
the appointment will be charged in full.
- If we arrive at the scheduled appointment time and no one is present to hand over the dog, or if we
are unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., an aggressive or sick dog), the full
fee will still be charged.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Grooming prices are based on the dog's size, coat type, and condition. Additional charges may
apply for excessive matting, difficult behavior, or extra handling requirements.
- All grooming fees must be paid on the day of service, either in cash, via bank transfer, or through
our online payment system.
- Failure to pay on time may result in additional late fees or refusal of future services.
4. Travel Fees & Service Area
- We provide mobile grooming services within 15 miles of our base for no extra charge.
- Travel fees will apply as follows:
- 15-25 miles: +10 GBP
- 25-35 miles: +15 GBP
- 35+ miles: Custom pricing based on distance.
- If a Client books an appointment outside our standard service area, we reserve the right to cancel
or adjust travel fees accordingly.
5. Dog Handling & Safety
- The Client confirms that their dog is fit and healthy for grooming. If the dog has any medical
conditions, allergies, or behavioral concerns, they must be disclosed before the appointment.- Aggressive or highly anxious dogs may require special handling and an additional charge (+10-20
GBP). If a dog is deemed too dangerous to groom, we reserve the right to refuse service, and the
full fee will still be charged.
- If a dog shows extreme distress or aggression, we may stop the groom at any time, and the full
charge will still apply.
6. Matting & Coat Condition
- Dogs with severely matted coats may require a shave-down for their health and comfort. This will
be done at the groomer's discretion and may incur an additional charge of +15-30 GBP due to extra
time and wear on grooming equipment.
- The Client understands that severe matting can lead to skin irritation or nicks when shaved, and
Koda's Canine Club is not responsible for any underlying skin conditions exposed after mat removal.
7. Fleas & Parasites
- If a dog has fleas, ticks, or other parasites, the Client must inform us prior to the appointment.
- If fleas are discovered during the groom, a mandatory flea bath will be performed at an additional
charge of +15 GBP.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog has a severe flea infestation or any contagious
condition.
8. Liability & Risk
- Koda's Canine Club takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of your pet. However, we
are not responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions or any injury that arises due to the
grooming process.
- If an emergency occurs, we will contact the Client immediately. If the Client is unreachable, we will
act in the best interest of the pet, including seeking veterinary care if necessary. The Client is
responsible for any vet costs incurred.
9. Photography & Media Use
- We may take photos or videos of dogs before, during, or after the groom for our records or for
marketing purposes. If you do not wish for your pet's images to be used, please inform us in writing.
10. Client Agreement
By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the
above terms and conditions.
